　　I like a piece of music very much. Every Saturday evening， when I listen to it quietly， I can hear the click， click， click like the singing of rails and remember an interesting story about a musician.
　　Long before， when the musician was a little boy， he had a good ear for music. Once he went home by train， he heard a sudden break in the singing of the rails， click， click， click. At that moment he knew the train was in danger. He told the conductor（列车员）about it， so he saved the train and the lives of all the people in the train.
　　What a beautiful piece of music and an interesting story！
　　A teacher was telling her pupils the importance of making other people glad. “Now， children，”said she，“have any one of you ever made someone else glad？”
　　“Please teacher，”said a small boy.“I made someone glad yesterday.”
　　“Well done. Who was that？”
　　“My granny.”
　　“Good boy. Now tell me how you made your grandmother glad.”
　　“Who is the other？”asked the conductor.
　　John lived in a big city with his wife and his children. One Saturday afternoon，John took his yellow motor bike out of his house and was washing it when one of his friends came by. The friend stopped and looked at it for a while. Then he said to John，“That？蒺s a nice motor bike. Is it yours？”
　　“Sometimes，”John answered.
　　The friend was surprised. “Sometimes？”he said.“What do you mean？”
　　Most people make their living with their hands. But Tom makes his living with his feet. A very good living it is， too.
　　At last Tom learned to kick a real football and after a few years he could play football with some grown-ups.
　　Tom made great progress in playing football and joined in a lot of games for his country. Now he is one of the best football players in the world.
