　　Xia Zhibing, president of Zotye Auto, suddenly updated his little-used microblog on August 5. The poem he wrote implied his intention of revitalizing himself. Then, the news about his appointment in Chery Auto emerged out.
　　Xia Zhibing was born in 1974 and served BYD Auto after graduating from Beijing University in 1998. In 2005, Xia Zhibing officially took over the position of sales manager of BYD Auto. From that time to May 2010, he helped BYD Auto go through the golden five years of development and he was praised as the “creator of the BYD legend”.
　　He joined in Zotye Auto in January 2012 as the president of this auto company. Before the appointment of Xia Zhibing, Zotye Auto was described as a company with great features of a family-owned enterprise. The management of family-owned business is usually not in the line with professional managers. Therefore, Xia Zhibing’s strategic planning is believed to be limited by the reality even though Ying Jianren, board chairman of Zotye Auto’s controlling shareholder Tieniu Group, agreed to give Xia Zhibing enough freedom in management.
　　After taking the position in Zotye Auto, Xia Zhibing made great adjustment to this company. However, the sales did not have much increase but the morale was greatly impaired. Then, Xia Zhibing proposed to be the consultant of Zotye Auto. Therefore, it was widely reported that the“president of Zotye Auto resigned only half a year after the appointment”. This was the first time that Xia Zhibing was rumored to leave Zotye Auto before this one. By now, both Xia Zhibing and Zotye Auto did not deny or confirm this saying.
